After Dinner Ukulele Society

Welcome to our website! The After Dinner Ukulele Society (ADUS) is an awesome Montreal based ukulele club founded in May 2013, by Eliezer Turgel. The ukulele is now enjoying an extraordinary revival in popularity which hasn’t been experienced for many decades. This friendly member of the guitar family has been showing up in hundreds of web videos, popular films, and concert halls all over the world. Eliezer has brought together a group of people with varying backgrounds in music. Some of our members have had years of musical experience with other instruments as well as with the ukulele while others have never even touched a “uke” before. Everyone is welcome regardless of musical experience. Come join our friendly, fun, and lively ukulele club or just come to see us perform. You are welcome to sing along with us as we play all kinds of music. Our club is located in the beautiful city of Côte Saint-Luc, a suburb of Montreal. Click on “Next Meeting” for the address.

The After Dinner Ukulele Society’s mission is to bring fellow Montreal ukulele enthusiasts together to form a community of ukulele players. We strive to provide an educational experience where our members can learn the ukulele, enhance their skills, and play for others in a fun and relaxed environment. Members will build friendships, play songs, share techniques, and, hopefully, learn a thing or two.  The club will provide opportunities to “jam”, showcase, learn, and support others who share a passion for making music on the ukulele. Ukulele workshops leading to concerts and public performances at hospitals and schools etc. are also offered.

Meetings are free of charge.
